 Application of creating Digital Graphic

 

In terms of application, nowadays most of application been created in order to create the image into digital. However, the main application that common use for the beginner to start creating the art into digital is by using this TWO such as :-

 

ü Photoshop

ü Illustrator

ü Blender

ü 3D Maya

Like shows on Fig.9 above it shows that the icon of Photoshop and inside how it looks like. Basically from own experience in using Photoshop, this application usually use to digital the image by using tools that been created inside the application. This application also one of the well-known one to in order to create 2D create or creating logo as well. Some company also use Photoshop to create their own character for the game because of it much easier to use it. Photoshop also as people know that its one of Adobe application that use not only for digitalize graphic but can also colour correction inside it by using the tools inside it.

 

Meanwhile for the Illustrator or known as Ai. This application also one of Adobe application, that also use to digitalize any 2D graphic. In terms of the uses, its the same like Photoshop, but this Illustrator some people said that have much more access in terms of digitalizing the graphic. Furthermore, Ai also commonly use for creating logo the reason of this will be explain it more below. However, Fig.10 below shows the Icon of Illustrator and inside of it how it looks like.

Furthermore, for the next application that also been use in creating graphic especially in video is also can be use by using Blender. Like shows on Fig.11 below the logo of blender. In short definition of blender, this software usually use to design 2D and as well as 3D kind of video game character, as well as animate the character. In addition, this application also one of the best software that can be use for the beginner due to this application is FREE. Therefore, more people can easily learn and can easily create they character game or their own video game by using this software. In Fig.11 below also can be seen that the example of blender inside where can be seen some try to create the video game character.

Lastly, will be also can be by using 3D Maya software. The purpose or the function is the same like blender, which also can be use to design video game character in 3D or in 2D form. However, the only different that can be seen is this application is not free which means the user need to pay in order to have the software. Therefore, the Fig.12 below shows the logo of 3D Maya ad how it looks indie the software itself. That can be seen someone try to create the video game environment.

Picture elements

Meanwhile, for the next topic will be about the Picture elements. In picture elements where also can be relate with the application above later. Moreover, picture elements have 2 type in digital graphic which is:-

ü Vector

ü Raster

 

Vector

For the first element of picture will be Vector. The definition of Vector is where the graphic been made by dots, line, curve line and all the basic shape. Therefore, this type element usually use for the logo because if using vector even though the logo resize into large the quality will still the same, this type of picture elements use due it automatically calculate according to any scale. By using vector also take only small amount of space such as only 16kb, 10kb and much more. Furthermore, the file extension that use for vector are:- shows on Table 1 below the file extension of vector. While, Fig.13 below shows the example of vector image.

Figure 13.1, shows the example of video game that use vector.

Raster

Meanwhile for the Raster, unlike Vector. Vector are made up from line, dots and much more. However, Raster made up from small particles that known as Pixels. This type of picture elements mostly use because of Raster is much detail than Vector. Therefore due to lots of detail inside raster this made the size of raster image more larger than Vectors. Since the raster, have detail therefore, its have higher quality and if the image been resize the image will be broke. The pixels can be seen and the image will be blur. Meanwhile, Table 2 shows the name and the file extension of the Raster. While Fig.14 below shows the example of raster looks like that made up with pixels. Which pixels is like a small box that fill with the colour according to how many bits the image are example 20,000 bites, therefore the pixel that will fill will be around 20,000 boxes, something like that. That how raster works and that's why it have large number of storage use such as 2mb, 3mn per picture due to the pixels and bits. That can be seen also on Fig.14.1 below the closer looks of the boxes of the pixels.

Figure 14.2 shows above, the example of video game that use raster. That can be seen the image more pixels than vector due to vector made of from line.
